Privacy & Data Security
LotusPing is a completely local application. Your data stays on your computer and is never transmitted to any external servers or services.
- No account required - Download and use immediately, no registration or login needed
- No data collection - All device information, floor plans, and settings are stored locally on your machine
- No telemetry - The application does not send any usage data, analytics, or device information to external servers
- Internet access only for:
- Map tile overlays (OpenStreetMap, ArcGIS Satellite) - for displaying geographic maps
- Pinging external/non-internal devices - when monitoring devices outside your local network
- 100% offline capable - For monitoring internal network devices, the application works completely offline after initial setup
All your data is stored in a local SQLite database file on your computer. You have complete control over your data with built-in export, import, and backup functionality.
